Clay grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and began acting at the ripe-old age of seven as the Six of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland. The acting bug may have bit him at a young age, but Clay hasn't taken a break from acting since.
Some of Clay's favorites include the following:
School: Hello, Dolly! (Horace), Don't Tell Mother! (Orville), The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Mr. Tumnus), Metamorphoses (Poseidon and Philemon), The King and I (The King), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (directed by). Community: Bye Bye Birdie (Albert), Pinocchio (Pinocchio). Film/TV: The Divergent Series: Allegiant, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts I and II, Life of the Party (2018), Boulevard, Becoming Jesse Tate, "Nashville," "Master of None."
He wishes to thank his savior, Jesus Christ, and his family and grandparents for their never-ending love and support. Also, Mike Chaney, Margie Wineman-Chaney, Mark and Alicia Fujihara, Jane Wineman, Janet Weaver, Terri Godfrey, Amy Eytchison, Elle Nelson, Kari Cherie Smith, and Caity Runger for the support and incredible teaching they have offered over the years. Without these individuals, Clay has no idea where he would be in the world of acting or otherwise.
Clay graduated from The University of Tennessee Knoxville with a degree in English Literature and a minor in psychology.
